HawkDown Gallery - Geo's FA5 Honda Civic Si

Every car in the HawkDown Gallery is built with intent — this FA5 is developed on track.

Geo’s 2007 Honda Civic Si (FA5) is a function-first build focused on repeatable performance, reliability, and driver feedback during track use.

Chassis-First Setup

The FA5 platform responds best to balance, and this setup reflects that. Fortune Auto 510s paired with a stiffer rear sway bar reduce roll and promote rotation without sacrificing compliance. Poly bushings tighten up chassis response, while SPC rear camber arms allow proper alignment for track tire wear and stability.

A square 18x9.5 TE37 setup maximizes front grip and maintains neutral handling, with RT660s providing consistent heat tolerance and responsive handling.

Thermal Control & Driver Interface

Braking is handled by a proven track combo — Brembo blanks to manage heat cycles, DTC-60 pads for sustained bite, and RBF 600 to maintain pedal consistency under load and heat.

Inside, the driving position and control inputs are prioritized. The Recaro seat, Momo wheel, Works Bell hub, Hybrid Racing shifter, and HawkDown Teardrop create a direct, mechanical interface that supports driver connectivity and repeatable lap performance.

Purpose And Presentation

This is not just a one trick pony. OEM+ exterior touches maintain factory lines, while the mechanical package is developed for real track use. Every component supports consistency, feedback, and durability — the fundamentals of a proper track-driven FA5.
